Now you can enter points to create automation curves for your chosen feature. Use the little triangle unfold button to reveal all the things you can automate wuth this particular instrument. Once there, you will be offered a menu to choose to add automation for various things. Choose 'Add Automation' from the drop down menu.ģ. Add an Automation by clicking the Automation button in the track header.Ģ. Because you can't do this with GB, the next best thing is to use GB's automation features to manually tweak modulation, cutoff, resonance, attack, decay, release etc.

    Garageband midi mapping software#

    The most likely use of something like this with a software instrument would be to record the the changes in real time as automation. There are a couple of controllers that have pluggins to control some of the main features of GB's user interface, but nothing like resonance etc specifically associated with one of GB's software instrument.
